The Cast

Toni Nunn is a soprano with international experience, equally at home in Australian and British theatres. She has performed leading roles with Court Opera, Island Opera, Stowe Opera, Opera Box, the Lyric Opera of Queensland, London Opera Players, Country Opera and Broomhill Opera. These include Violetta La Traviata, Queen of the Night Magic Flute, Rosina Barber of Seville, Adina L'Elisir d'amore, Mistress Ford Merry Wives of Windsor, Madam Herze The Impressario, Gilda Rigoletto, Lucia Lucia di Lammamoor, Nella Gianni Schicchi, and Fiordiligi Cosi Fan Tutte. She provides the immaculate nails and top notes.

Kirsty Young is a mezzo with vast touring experience in opera highlights. Over the last thirteen years, she’s taken Hatstand Opera across the country, playing venues from village halls to stately homes, theatres to open air stages, the Covent Garden Festival to castles. She’s sung principal roles in opera for UK companies, sung musicals in some very weird places and has even appeared as Hamlet in a 15 minute workshop at Shakespeare’s Globe theatre. She provides the Rubenesque curves and comedy.

Jeremy Fisher (pianist) has worked extensively in the West End; shows include Carmen Jones, Me and My Girl, Les Misérables, Phantom of the Opera, Mack and Mabel, Calamity Jane. Opera includes La Bohème, Lulu, Aida, Il Seraglio, Candide (Scottish Opera), Barber of Seville, The Trojans, Faust, La Bohème (Opera North), Cosi fan tutte, Marriage of Figaro, La Traviata (MTL). Jeremy is a renowned vocal coach for classical, pop and West End singers. He provides the immaculate accompaniment and lounge-lizard smile.
